The Superior Court of California for San Francisco County reported the following activities in the suit brought by American Family, Axis Insurance Company, Federal Insurance Company, Grange Insurance Association, Liberty Insurance Corp., Ohio Security Insurance Company, Peerless Insurance Company, Safeco Insurance and Unitrin Auto against Pacific Gas and Electric Company, a California and other unnamed defendants on May 13.
A multitude of plaintiffs brought civil charges against the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) for damages sustained in the September 2020 Zogg Fire in Shasta County.

SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has reversed part of a U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California summary judgment in a lawsuit aimed at limiting Pacific Gas and Electric Co.’s (PG&E) “indirect and direct stormwater discharges of wood treatment chemicals from various of its facilities in San Francisco and Humboldt Bays,” according to a Nov. 2 Ninth Circuit opinion.
SAN FRANCISCO – The surviving spouse of a Pacific Gas and Electric Co. employee alleges waivers that she signed for her late husband's pre-retirement benefits were invalid and that she is the rightful beneficiary.
