Sequoia Sales Inc. claims it wasn't paid for produce

SAN FRANCISCO – A produce supplier is suing a dealer over allegations of an unpaid invoice.

Sequoia Sales Inc. filed a complaint Feb. 22 in the U.S. District Court Northern District of California against Lim's Produce Inc. and Marc Lim, citing breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between September 2014 and October 2015, it sold to the defendant fresh produce amounting to $159,997.06. The invoice associated with the purchase was sent to the defendant, however defendants allegedly failed to pay the total amount.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages amounting to $159,997.06 plus interest, post-judgment interest, legal fees and any other relief the court deems just and proper.
