SAN FRANCISCO – An agency that works in the gaming industry is suing a company over allegations of unpaid invoices.
Flashman Studios LLC filed a complaint on March 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Contagious Gaming and Does 1-100, citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, Flashman entered into an agreement with Telos Entertainment in 2012 in which the plaintiff would procure game publishers for it in exchange for a percentage of revenue. Telos was later acquired by Contagious Gaming, the suit states. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant has not paid it since October 2015, and owes $162,275, plus the interest rate of $6,000 per month.
The plaintiff holds Contagious Gaming and Does 1-100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to continue the payment for the percentage of the revenue to plaintiff in accordance to their agreement.
The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just and proper. It is represented by Trevor J. Zink of Omni Law Group LLP in San Jose.
