SAN FRANCISCO – Several trust funds allege that an employer failed to pay its contributions per a bargaining agreement.

Operating Engineers' Health and Welfare Trust Fund for Northern California; Pension Trust Fund for Operating Engineers; Pensioned Operating Engineers' Health and Welfare Trust Fund; et al. filed a complaint on May 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Shasta Constructors Inc. citing violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that between Jan. 1, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2014, it suffered damages as a result of unpaid contributions from the defendant.
