Suit filed by federal government for allegedly unpaid student loan

SAN FRANCISCO – The federal government has filed a suit against a California woman alleging unpaid debt.

United States of America filed a complaint on May 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Joanne F. Teping, also known as Joanne Teping, Joanne Francis Teping, Joanne Frances Teping, Joanne Fox Teping, Joanne Francis Fox and Joanne Frances Fox, citing unpaid student loans.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant allegedly owes $1,747.38, plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks damages in the full amount, interest to the date of judgement, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by Michael Cosentino of Alameda.
