FRESNO – A wholesale produce company alleges it wasn't paid for a delivery.
Coastal Green Vegetables Co. LLC filed a complaint on May 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, Fresno Division against Elan Foods Inc., Richard Saulovich, Eric Saulovich, Jose Carbajal and Skip Henderson alleging that they failed to pay for fresh produce delivered by plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between March 16 and April 12, it suffered monetary damages to its business as a result of unpaid fresh produce. The plaintiff holds Elan Foods Inc., Richard Saulovich, Eric Saulovich, Jose Carbajal and Skip Henderson responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the invoices sent by plaintiff.
The plaintiff seeks damages amounting to $138,790.40 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by David M. Gilmore of Gilmore Magness Leifer in Fresno.
