LOS ANGELES – A Beverly Hills company alleges that a toy company sells unauthorized reproductions of its Conan the Barbarian character.

Conan Properties International LLC filed a complaint on July 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against ARH Studios Inc. alleging copyright infringement and unfair competition.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Conan Properties International LLC suffered damages to its business as the result of its copyrighted work being used without its authority by the defendant.
