Couple allegedly owes an individual nearly $1 million

Late 02

SAN FRANCISCO — An individual has filed suit against a couple who allegedly owes him almost $1 million in principal and interest on a personal loan he issued to them.

Georgy Shuppe filed a complaint Sept. 1 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, San Francisco Division, against David Liberman and Daniil Liberman,  alleging that they failed to settle their debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between 2005 and 2009, he suffered damages due to unpaid personal loans. The plaintiff holds David Liberman and Daniil Liberman responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement by failing to pay the principal amount plus interest on their loan to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Tyler G. Newby of Fenwick & West LLP in San Francisco and Shannon Turner of Fenwick & West LLP in Mountain View.
