SAN DIEGO – A production company claims that its movie was distributed online illegally.

LHF Productions Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Doe-184.178.27.204 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that its motion picture "London Has Fallen" was illegally distributed by the defendant using BitTorrent software in June.

The plaintiff holds Doe-184.178.27.204 responsible because the defendant allegedly copied and distributed a file without consent from the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, permanent injunction, statutory damages, costs of suit, attorney fees and further relief as the court deems proper. It is represented by James S. Davis of James S. Davis Attorney at Law in Chula Vista.
