X-Treme Printing Inc. alleged to owe contributions

LOS ANGELES – An Industry based labor union fund alleges it is owed unpaid contributions.

GCIU-Employer Retirement Fund and board of trustees of the GCIU-Employer Retirement Fund filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against X-Treme Printing Inc. citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendant withdrew from participating in the plaintiffs' funds in 2012 and has not paid the withdrawal liability. The plaintiffs also allege they require an audit from 2009 to the date of the defendant's withdrawal.

The plaintiffs seek $163,123 plus interest, audit fees, all due contributions and deductions plus interest, liquidated damages, $27.48 in underpaid minimum annual benefit contributions, $550 in liquidated damages and $191.10 in interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just.
