LOS ANGELES – An entertainment corporation alleges a Santa Monica comedian and his limited liability company willfully infringed its copyrights.

Uproar Entertainment filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Robert Collins, also known as Bobby Collins; On the Inside Productions LLC; and Does 1-20 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it owns the copyright and master recordings of some of Collins' comedic performances and markets them, paying Collins sales royalties. The plaintiff holds Robert Collins, On the Inside Productions LLC and Does 1-20 responsible because the defendants allegedly copied plaintiff's compact discs and modified the disc's labels to eliminate plaintiff's reference on them.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, injunction against the defendant, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Kenneth F. Moss of Law Office of Kenneth F. Moss in Woodland Hills.
