Anton Innovations Inc. claims Getac used patented technology in wireless devices

SANTA ANA – A Costa Mesa corporation alleges an Irvine corporation and a Taiwanese corporation used its patented technology in their notebook computers and tablets.

Anton Innovations Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Getac Inc. and Getac Technology Corp. alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having its patented network control technology for wireless devices infringed. The plaintiff holds Getac Inc. and Getac Technology Corp. responsible because the defendants allegedly infringes plaintiff's patent through the distribution of their multi-modal devices, such as tablets and cellphones.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages adequate to compensate plaintiff plus interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by H. H.
