Couple accuses Ford Motor Co. of breach of warranty over defective vehicle

LOS ANGELES — A couple is suing Ford Motor Co. a car manufacturer, citing alleged breach of implied warranty and breach of warranty.

William R. Skinner and Lillian A. Skinner filed a complaint on Oct. 11, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Ford Motor Co. alleging that the car manufacturer failed to repair the defects of the vehicle purchased by the plaintiffs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that William R. Skinner and Lillian A. Skinner suffered damages from purchasing a defective vehicle. The plaintiffs holds Ford Motor Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to remedy the defects from the plaintiff's vehicle and refused to give them a refund.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek general, special and actual damages, a rescinding of the sale of the vehicle purchased by the plaintiffs, incidental and consequential damages, out of pocket damages, economic losses, interest, all legal fees and any other relief this court grants. They are represented by Richard C. Dalton of Richard C. Dalton in Mandeville, Louisiana.
