Woman alleges she was injured in accident with Navy vehicle

SAN DIEGO – A San Diego County woman alleges she was injured in an auto accident with a federal employee.

Chloe Mauri filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against The United States of America and United States Department of the Navy alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 7, she was driving northbound on Park Boulevard when the defendants’ employee was attempting to turn left from westbound Wieber Avenue and caused the defendants' vehicle to collide with plaintiff’s vehicle. She alleges the incident caused injuries, including mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering, and permanent disability.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, damages, costs of suit, and further relief as the court may deem proper. She is represented by Dan Bacal of Law offices of Dan Bacal in El Cajon.
