Man allegedly owes more than $21,000 on student loan

LOS ANGELES – The federal government is seeking more than $21,000 from a Los Angeles County man.

United States of America filed a complaint on Nov. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Terry Savage, also known as Terry Lamont Savage, alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Savage failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks a principal amount of $21,686.02, plus interest of $4,318.17 with further interest at 4.25 percent per annum accruing at $2.52 per day, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by William I. Goldsmith and Michael L. Goldsmith of Goldsmith & Hull APC in Northridge.
