Three businesses accused of using Westlake Village man's photo without authorization

LOS ANGELES – A Westlake Village photographer alleges his copyrighted photo was used on three websites without his consent.

Adam George filed a complaint on Nov. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Aviato Club Inc., The Travel Curator LLC, Connect Group Media LLC and Does 1 through 10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from having his copyrighted photograph used without his permission. The plaintiff holds Aviato Club Inc., The Travel Curator LLC, Connect Group Media LLC and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly used plaintiff's photographs in multiple websites.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendants, award all profits and damages to the plaintiff, all legal fees and interest, statutory damages plus any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Stephen M. Doniger, Scott A. Burroughs, and Frank Gregory Casella of Doniger/Burroughs in Venice.
