AdSupply Inc. claims Advertise.com is using its software code without permission

LOS ANGELES – A digital advertising network alleges a competitor is unlawfully using its proprietary software code.

AdSupply Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Advertise.com Inc. alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its company. The plaintiff holds Advertise.com Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly exploited and used plaintiff's code to advertise its ads.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant from further infringing plaintiff's copyrights, impound all infringing items, actual damages, disgorgement, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Michael A. Trauben and Justin R. Trauben of Singh, Sing & Trauben LLP in Beverly Hills.
