LOS ANGELES – A Studio City man alleges he was injured in a cruise ship's lounge because of spilled drinks on a dance floor.
Anthony Weathington filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Princess Cruise Lines LTD alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 17, 2015, he suffered injuries to his ankle from stepping on liquids and debris that were left on a lounge floor on the defendant's ship. The plaintiff holds Princess Cruise Lines LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of the dance floor.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general damages, medical expenses, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Miriam J. Lebental of Miriam J. Lebental in San Pedro.
