Man alleges he is owed unpaid wages from Ericsson Inc.

SAN FRANCISCO – An employee of a technology global service and equipment provider alleges his was misclassified as an exempt employee.

Christopher Gallardo filed a complaint on March 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Ericsson Inc. and Does 1 through 10 citing California labor codes and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was hired by the defendant in February 2016 as a salaried employee. The plaintiff holds Ericsson Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide accurate wage statements to the plaintiff and failed to pay overtime.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages, damages, liquidated damages, restitution, statutory penalties, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Rory C. Quintana of Quintana Hanafi LLP in San Francisco.
