Arbor Snowboards Inc. accuses Bravo Sector 9 of trademark infringement

Trademark 03

LOS ANGELES – A Santa Fe Springs snowboard retailer alleges a Santa Fe Springs company violated the terms of a license agreement.

Arbor Snowboards Inc. filed a complaint on March 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Bravo Sector 9 LLC and Eastern Skateboard Supply Inc. alleging trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, Bravo Sector 9 entered into licensing agreement with the plaintiff in 2007 and in 2016, the plaintiff learned that Bravo Sector 9 was considering selling the plaintiff's products to Eastern Skateboard Supply. The suit states Bravo Sector 9 was told Eastern Skateboard Supply was not approved as a distributor in January. The plaintiff holds Bravo Sector 9 LLC and Eastern Skateboard Supply Inc. responsible because Eastern Skateboard Supply is allegedly selling unauthorized Arbor Snowboards products it purchased from Bravo Sector 9

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, profits, treble damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by Robert S. Addison Jr. and Matthew L. Seror of Buchalter in Los Angeles.
