LOS ANGELES – A consumer electronics manufacturer alleges a Pico Rivera company hired to provide shipping and warehousing services failed to reimburse the plaintiff for its errors per the terms of their agreement.

Curtis International LTD filed a complaint on March 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Pacific Logistics Corp. alleging breach of contract, negligence and breach of contract of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff hired the defendant to provide shipping and warehousing services in June 2016. The plaintiff alleges that Pacific Logistics Corp. allegedly breached its contractual agreement with the plaintiff from failing to pay it for late shipments made due to wrong carriers and other errors which caused financial losses to the plaintiff. The plaintiff alleges it lost more than $75,000 in fines, lost profits and inventory.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, restitution, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Aaron Marienthal of Marton Ribera Schumann & Chang LLP in San Francisco.
