Consumer claims Connectto Communications unlawfully called him

Phone 02

LOS ANGELES – A Studio City individual has filed a class-action lawsuit against a communications company over allegations it unlawfully contacted him for solicitation purposes.

Bob Greenfield filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on March 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Connectto Communications Inc. and Does 1 through 10 citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that beginning in December 2016, he suffered damages from receiving several unwanted phone calls from the defendant in its attempt to solicit its services. The plaintiff holds Connectto Communications Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly used an automatic telephone dialing system to call the plaintiff without prior consent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks $500 in statutory damages, $1,500 in treble damages, and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Todd M. Friedman, Adrian R. Bacon and Meghan E. George of Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman PC in Woodland Hills.
