Salem Media Group Inc. accused of using photograph without authorization

LOS ANGELES – A Camarillo corporation is accused of unlawfully using a Santa Monica photography studio's photograph.

Michael Grecco Productions Inc., doing business as Michael Grecco Photography, filed a complaint on March 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Salem Media Group Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having its photograph used without its consent. The plaintiff holds Salem Media Group Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly publicly displayed plaintiff's photograph on their website without authorization.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendant, all profits, monetary damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Stephen M. Doniger, Scott Alan Burroughs and David Shein of Doniger/Burroughs in Venice.
