Construction Laborers Trust Funds for Southern California Administrative allege they are owed contributions

LOS ANGELES – Orange County employers are accused of failing to pay contributions to a labor union fund.

Construction Laborers Trust Funds for Southern California Administrative Co. filed a complaint on March 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Lobby Traffic Systems Inc., Jeffrey David Haden, Wesco Insurance Co., USS Cal Builders Inc., Arch Insurance Co. and Doe 1 through Doe 4 citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Labor Management Relations Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to unpaid and late paid contributions. The plaintiff holds Lobby Traffic Systems Inc., Haden, Wesco Insurance Co., USS Cal Builders Inc., Arch Insurance Co. and Doe 1 through Doe 4 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contract with the plaintiff by failing to remit their monthly contributions to the plaintiff on behalf of their employees.

The plaintiff seeks sum of $55,539.66, interest in the amount of $1,695.66, liquidated damages in the sum of $11,075.86, audit costs, interest, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just.
