Pedestrian alleges she was struck by two vehicles involved in collision

Car accident 12

LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian alleges she was injured as a result of a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Ridgely Drive.

Carly Rebecca Wickell filed a complaint on March 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Consulate General of Burma; Consulate General of Myanmar in Los Angeles; Barua Rajib; Ariana Aguilera; and Milagro Ramirez Vasquez alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 15, 2016, she was walking in a marked crosswalk and suffered physical injuries from being struck by vehicles, driven by Aguilera and Rajib, when they collided.

The plaintiff holds Consulate General of Burma; Consulate General of Myanmar in Los Angeles; Rajib, Aguilera, and Ramirez Vasquez responsible because the defendants owed a duty to operate, maintain, supervise and manage their respective vehicles with due care.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general damages, special damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Robert T. Simon and Thomas J. Conroy of The Simon Law Group LLP in Hermosa Beach.
