LOS ANGELES – A Pomona consumer claims Dish Network continued to call her without her permission.

Denise Coleman filed a complaint on March 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Dish Network LLC alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that beginning in January 2016, she suffered damages from receiving several unwanted calls on her phone. The plaintiff holds Dish Network LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly kept on calling the plaintiff despite her request to stop calling.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages of $500, treble damages of $1,500, injunctive relief, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Amy L. Bennecoff Ginsburg of Kimmel & Silberman PC in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
