California corporation accuses garment vendors of copyright infringement

LOS ANGELES — A California corporation is suing FYC Apparel Group, LLC., Cyrus Kits Ltd. d/b/a Sunny Leigh, K&G Men's Company, Inc. and Does 1-10, garment vendors, citing alleged copyright infringement.

Unicolors, Inc. filed a complaint on April 5, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the defendants alleging that they copied and reproduced plaintiff's fabric design.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Unicolors, Inc. suffered damages to their business from having their fabric design copied without their permission. The plaintiff holds FYC Apparel Group, LLC., Cyrus Kits Ltd. d/b/a Sunny Leigh, K&G Men's Company, Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sells garments that bear plaintiff's fabric design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendant, all profits, interest, all legal fees, and any other other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by C. Yong Jeong and Amy J. Choe of Jeong & Likens, L.C. in Los Angeles.
