Government accuses man of alleged failure to pay student loans

LOS ANGELES – An individual is purported to have defaulted on student loans.

United States of America filed a complaint on April 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Adrian D. Thompson alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Thompson failed to pay the principal amount of his debt including interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $461.57 plus interest of $132.26 with interest accruing thereafter at 3.25 percent per annum, principal amount of $14,180.74, plus interest of $3,446.87 with interest accruing thereafter at 3.25 percent per annum, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Dean Prober and Homan Mobasser of Prober & Raphael in Woodland Hills.
