Individual alleged to owe more than $50,000 on student loans

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County resident is alleged to have failed to pay two student loans.

United States of America filed a complaint on April 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Tristram T. Gunther, also known as Tristram T. Buckley Gunther, alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Gunther failed to pay the principal amount of two debts including interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $15,131.66 plus interest of $14,625.62 with interest accruing thereafter at 3.39 percent per annum, principal amount of $55,730.77 plus interest of $50,996.93 with interest accruing thereafter at 3.27 percent per annum, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Dean Prober and Homan Mobasser of Prober & Raphael in Woodland Hills.
