Owner alleges San Francisco property she purchased is defective

Contract 09

SAN FRANCISCO – An individual alleges false statements were made to her to induce her into buying a property with defects.

Susanne Fors filed a complaint on March 28 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against SF Realty Partners LLC, Growth Equity Partners LLC and Does 1-10 alleging breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from purchasing a Folsom Street property in 2015 that had several defects in it. The plaintiff holds SF Realty Partners LLC, Growth Equity Partners LLC and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to repair the defects of the property, including crumbling concrete foundation that is not sealed, siding touching the concrete and other defects before selling it to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $150,000. She is represented by Ron U. Lunski and Andrew C. McClelland of Lunski & Stimpert LLP in San Francisco.
