SAN FRANCISCO – Santa Clara County consumers allege a GMC vehicle they purchased in 2011 has defects that have not been repaired.

Scott Spinetti and Stacey Spinetti filed a complaint on April 3 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against General Motors LLC and Does 1 through 10 alleging breach of express warranty and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they purchased a 2011 GMC Acadia in March 2011, which came with a warranty. They allege that during the warranty period, the vehicle developed defects to the water pump, power steering pump, suspension and other areas. The plaintiffs hold General Motors LLC and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to repair the defects found on the plaintiff's vehicle to confirm to the warranty.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek actual damages, restitution, consequential and incidental damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Michael Devlin and Angela Dailey of Strategic Legal Practices APC in Los Angeles.
