Conagra Brands employees allege they are owed unpaid wages

Law money 06

LOS ANGELES – Employees at the Conagra Oakdale facility have filed a class action over allegations that they were not paid for all hours worked.

Jesse Alvarez, Abraham Ibarra and Arturo Verduzco filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated individuals on April 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Conagra Brands Inc., Conagra Foods Packaged Foods LLC and Does 1-50 alleging labor law violations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiffs hold Conagra Brands Inc., Conagra Foods Packaged Foods LLC and Does 1-50 responsible because the defendants also allegedly failed to pay minimum wages and provide adequate meal and rest breaks.

The plaintiffs seek damages, restitution, unpaid wages, unpaid minimum wages, unpaid overtime, compensatory damages, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Cory G. Lee of The Downey Law Firm LLC in Beverly Hills.
