State Farm claims individual failed to pay more than $25,000

SAN FRANCISCO – An insurer allege a driver failed to pay for damages after a crash.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed a complaint on April 5 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Jacob Castoreno and Does I through V alleging that the individual caused damages to the plaintiff's insured.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 15, 2016, its insured Steven G. Burrill was damaged in a collision with the defendant on Interstate 80. The plaintiff holds Castoreno and Does I through V responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently and carelessly operated his vehicle and failed to pay the full amount of the damages to plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks property damages of $25,141.71, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Susan M. Benson of Benson Legal APC in Encino.
