R.C. Underground Inc. seeks more than $190,000 it alleges is owed for services

SAN FRANCISCO – A California company alleges it was not paid for materials and labor it supposed for a San Francisco construction project.

R.C. Underground Inc. filed a complaint on April 4 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Alta Laguna LLC, Build Group Inc. and Does 1 through 50 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages to its company from not being paid for its services in 2013 on the Alta Laguna project. The plaintiff holds Alta Laguna LLC, Build Group Inc. and Does 1 through 50 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay them for materials, labor, supplies and services.

The plaintiff seeks principal sum of $190,271, 2 percent interest per month, principal amount of $190,000 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Timothy E. Salter of Procopio Cory Hargreaves & Savitch LLP in San Diego.
