Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices LLP alleges client owes more than $40,000

SAN FRANCISCO – A law firm alleges an Oakland resident failed to pay for services provided.

Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices LLP filed a complaint on April 4 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Lama Ashkar and Does 1 through 10 citing breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the parties entered into a written retainer agreement in 2014 for the plaintiff to provide legal services. The plaintiff holds Ashkar and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make further payments to the plaintiff after making a partial payment.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages in the sum of $43,356.52 plus interest of $6,854.73, interest at the rate of 10 percent per annum, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just.
