Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club files subrogation claim for more than $31,000

FRESNO – An insurance firm is alleges it is entitled to recover the amount it paid its insureds after an accident.

Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club filed a complaint on April 17 in the Fresno County Superior Court against John Christopher Brinson and Does 1 through 10 seeking subrogation.

According to the complaint, James and Rudy Caldwell, the plaintiff's insureds, were in a collision with Brinson on June 11, 2015, in Texas. The plaintiff alleges it paid more than $31,000 and that it is entitled to recover this amount from the defendants.

The plaintiff seeks damages in the sum of $31,619.16, plus interest at the rate of 10 percent, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Todd F. Haines, Shan H. Yamamoto and Brian Tapper of Law Offices of Todd F. Haines in Agoura Hills.
