SAN FRANCISCO – A former employee of a San Francisco restaurant alleges that he is owed more than $10,000 in unpaid wages.

Bryan Valladares filed a complaint on April 10 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against The Dorian LLC and Does 1 through 10 alleging inaccurate wage statements and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for the defendant from March 1, 2016, to Nov. 27, 2016. The plaintiff holds The Dorian LLC and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate meal periods, accurate wage statements, did not pay the proper rates for double time or overtime hours he worked.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages for unpaid overtime and double time wages in the amount of $10,038.67 plus interest, unpaid premium pay for missed meal periods in the amount of $3,144.50 plus interest, waiting time penalties of $5,575.20, penalties for inaccurate wage statements of $1,750, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just.
