State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance seeks more than $11,000 from driver

SAN FRANCISCO – An insurance firm is seeking to recover money it paid to its insured after a collision in San Francisco.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed a complaint on April 11 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Vladimir Cerven and Does 1-40 seeking subrogation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages on behalf of its insured, Shahina Dadabhai in the amount of $11,619.04. The plaintiff holds Cerven and Does 1-40 responsible because Cerven collided with the plaintiff's vehicle in 2015 and has failed and refused to pay the sum.

The plaintiff seeks the sum of $11,619.04, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Richard L. Mahfouz II and Shelby Poteet of Clerkin, Sinclair & Mahfouz LLP in San Diego.
