Woman alleges she was subjected to harassment while working at Fambro Warehouse Co.

FRESNO – A Fresno County woman alleges that she was subjected to sexual battery and harassment while working for her former employer.

Adriana Martinez filed a complaint on May 1 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Exact Staff, Fambro Warehouse Co., Louis Dreyfus Co., Paul Valenzuela and Does 1-25 inclusive alleging sexual battery, employment discrimination/sexual harassment and violence and intentional infliction of emotion distress.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in Oct. 27, 2015, plaintiff began working for Fambro Warehouse Co. and claims she began experiencing physical and verbal sexual harassment from Valenzuela when she would take breaks in her vehicle. Plaintiff claims she reported the incidents to the defendants' branch manager but no action was taken. The suit states she quit in January.

The plaintiff holds Exact Staff, Fambro Warehouse Co., Louis Dreyfus Co., Valenzuela and Does 1-25 inclusive responsible because the defendants allegedly created a workplace which would be objectionable to any reasonable woman.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages according to proof, attorneys' fees, costs of suit, and for such other and further relief as the court deems proper. She is represented by Albert Garcia of Law Offices of Albert Garcia in Visalia.
