State Farm seeks more than $12,000 from driver after San Francisco crash

SAN FRANCISCO – An insurance company claims a negligent driver owes it more than $12,000.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed a complaint on May 17 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Milana Ram and Does 1 through 5 seeking damages.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges its insured Christine Forsell suffered injuries after a collision with Ram on Lake Merced Boulevard in San Francisco in 2014. The plaintiff alleges it paid Forsell more than $12,000 and that the defendants have failed to pay that amount.

The plaintiff seeks property damages in the sum of $12,895.96, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Susan M. Benson of Benson Legal APC in Encino.
