SAN FRANCISCO – A contractor alleges it is owed money for work it completed.
SimplexGrinnell LP filed a complaint on May 14 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against JME Construction Services Inc. and Does 1 through 100 alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendants entered into a contract in August 2015 for the plaintiff to provide installation work for $11,490. The plaintiff holds JME Construction Services Inc. and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay for the work completed.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount that exceeds $9,338.29, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Joseph G. McGuinness of McGuinness & Associates in Torrance.
