Union groups seek audit of Comstock Concrete

Law money 06

LOS ANGELES – A Nevada construction company is alleged to have failed to permit union representatives to complete an audit.

Carpenters Southwest Administrative Corp. and the board of Trustees for the Carpenters Southwest Trust filed a complaint on May 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against Comstock Concrete LLC and Does 1 through 10 citing the Labor-Management Relations Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the plaintiffs and the defendants entered into an agreement in 2004 that permits the plaintiffs to conduct audits. The plaintiffs hold Comstock Concrete LLC, and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their bargaining agreement by failing to let the plaintiffs complete an audit.

The plaintiffs seek for the defendants to submit to a completion of an audit, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Jodi Siegner of DeCarlo & Shanley in Los Angeles.
