Trinity Management Services, Designstor.com alleged to have used photo without permission

SAN FRANCISCO – A New York style and fashion curator alleges that her photograph was unlawfully used on a construction wrap in San Francisco.

Karen Blanchard filed a complaint on June 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Trinity Management Services and Designstor.com Inc. alleging copyright infringement and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from having her photograph used without permission. The plaintiff holds Trinity Management Services and Designstor.com Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly reproduced plaintiff's photograph and used it as part of a city block-long construction wrap for a development project in San Francisco.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendants, profits, actual damages, all damages, all legal fees, punitive damages and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Lawrence G. Townsend of Law Offices of Lawrence G. Townsend in San Francisco.
