FRESNO – A Los Angeles County man is accused of failing to pay rent.

Northern Village Associates LP filed a complaint on June 6 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Bina Thapa, Rajesh Arora, Shailez Arora and Does 1-10 alleging breach of lease agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 28, 2014, plaintiff leased to defendant certain premises known as 1055 E. Hemdon Avenue, Suite 106 in Fresno. The suit states the plaintiff sent Thapa a notice to pay rent in April, but discovered the property had been abandoned.

The plaintiff holds Thapa, Rajesh Arora, Shailez Arora and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly untimely abandoned the premises and failed to pay any rent and other charges due and owing since Feb. 1.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the approximate sum of $83,000, costs for repair to the premises, leasing commissions and releasing costs, security deposit, attorney's fees, costs and interest and such other just and proper relief. It is represented by Brad S. Sures of Law Office of Brad S. Sures in Granada Hills.
