Individual alleged to owe more than $250,000 for education loan

SACRAMENTO – An individual residing in the court's jurisdiction is alleged to have failed to pay off an education loan in full.

United States of America filed a complaint on July 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against Patricia A. Simmons alleging that the individual failed to settle her debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Simmons defaulted on her loan in 2010 and has not paid it in full despite demands.

The plaintiff seeks judge in the amount of $256,850.10 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Phillip A. Talbert and Kurt A. Didier in Sacramento.
