LOS ANGELES — A South Korean garment business is suing a Texas competitor, alleging copyright infringement.

C&SM International filed a complaint July 14 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against A'Gaci LLC, and Does 1 through 10, alleging they illegally copied and reproduced the plaintiff's two-dimensional artwork.

According to the complaint, C&SM suffered damages from having its artwork copied without its permission. The plaintiff alleges the defendants sell garments made out of textiles that bear C&SM's designs.

C&SM International seeks trial by jury, enjoin the defendant, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorneys Ginam Lee and Jay Hong of Legacy Pro Law PC in Los Angeles.
