Ironworks business alleges contractor owes more than $160,000

SAN FRANCISCO — A California ironworks business is suing a contractor, alleging breach of contract.

Kwan Wo Ironworks Inc. filed a complaint April 21 in San Francisco County Superior Court against Thompson Builders Corporation, doing business as West Bay Builders Inc., Berkley Insurance Company and Does 1 to 20, alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff more than $160,000 for its work.

According to the complaint, Kwan Wo Ironworks monetary damages from not being fully paid for the services it rendered. The plaintiff alleges the defendants altered and amended the quantity of the work, resulting in an additional amount but failed to fully pay the plaintiff.

Kwan Wo Ironworks seeks trial by jury, damages of $163,548.85, interest, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. It is represented by attorney Dawn Ceizler of The Law Offices of Dawn Ceizler in Walnut Creek.
