Employee accuses Buffalo Wild Wings of failure to pay overtime

LOS ANGELES — A California man has filed a class action lawsuit against Buffalo Wild WIngs, alleging unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

Heath Hustad-Ramos filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Sept. 16 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. and Blazin Wings Inc. and Does 1 to 10, alleging they failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiff, violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Hustad-Ramos worked more than 40 hours per week as a store manager in Riverside, California, without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to pay overtime wages at one and half times his regular wage or provide an accurate wage statement as required by FLSA.

Hustad-Ramos seeks trial by jury, nominal damages, compensatory damages, restitution, interest, legal fees, civil penalties and all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Todd M. Friedman and Adrian R. Bacon of Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman PC in Woodland Hills.
