Former Service Master Advanced, Aladdin's Carpet employee files suit over sexual harassment allegations

FRESNO – A Merced County woman she resigned her position with a Fresno office because of unwelcome sexual harassment.

Brenda Libecki filed a complaint on July 20 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Service Master Advanced, Aladdin's Carpet Inc., et al. alleging sexual harassment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was a co-employee of Service Master and Aladdin and was hired in 2014 as a water coordinator. She alleges a franchise owner made sexual comments to her, touched her breasts and came unnecessarily close to her. The suit states she resigned June 8, 2016. 

The plaintiff holds Service Master Advanced, Aladdin's Carpet Inc., et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly subjected her to severe unwelcome sexual harassment and an intimidating, oppressive, hostile and offensive work environment that interfered with her ability to perform her job.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, prejudgment interest of $500,000, punitive damages of $1 million, civil penalty of $10,000 and such other just and proper relief.
