Blujay Transport sued for allegedly unpaid loan balance

FRESNO – A Kingwood, Texas business has filed a suit against a Bakersfield business and its associates over allegations of an unpaid loan.

Ascentium Capital LLC filed a complaint on March 15 in the U.S. District Court Eastern District of California against Gurminder Singh, Jaswinder Bhangoo and Blujay Transport Inc., citing breach of equipment finance agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it made a loan to Singh in 2014 for the purpose of acquiring two utility trailers. The plaintiff holds Singh, Bhangoo and Blujay Transport Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly have failed to pay on the loan since July 2015. Even after several attempts of the plaintiff to collect, the defendants allegedly still refuse to pay the owed amount.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages in the amount of $84,336.48 plus interest of 4 percent per annum, late charges for each late payment in the amount of $1,581.30, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Andrew K. Alper of Frandzel Robins Bloom & Csato LC in Los Angeles.
